You're straining too hard Gill.

No one in real 'authority' needs to prove themselves, same as most truly wealthy people don't brag about it.

You have this tendency to do all of it, comes with lacking experience, being a dud I guess.

Not me

I drive a Honda, made in Japan, non-union.

If I could buy non-union booze, I'd buy it by the case. Wherever I can, I buy non-union, much better quality.

Nice Rick, really makes sense.

Very true. You buy and frequent those places that you like, and that give you the product and quality at the price you are willing to pay. I doubt many people think about things any further than that.

She's jealous

You are a successfuly capitalist, own several houses a nice home and a number of vehicles.

She is a failed socialist and likely still lives in her mother's basement.

Gill - you brag, youve always bragged.

You seldom post facts, you have this bragging way about you, personally I never could stand someone who HAS to brag [to feel less inferior]

Long gone

Mebbe so, but that does not preclude you from continuing to live in your mother's basement.

Just because other socialists own property does not mean you do.

One recalls further hypocrisy of the "People's Party", they were going to bring in a tax on homes of a certain value and property (jewellery etc) over a certain value.

The plan died a hasty death when it was realized almost the entire ndp caucus fell into the category of wealth which would have been taxed.

Instead, they brought in the 'Road Kill Tax".

Keep on letting us know about your employees and success Trip, it burns "maldol the smelfungus' " arse every time.

Meanwhile,

back at the topic; another landslide/rockfall has closed the Sea to Sky again. They have been trying to stabilize the area for as long as I can remember. Just think of the headlines when an SV sized rock plunges through a bus-load of tourists during the olympics. Thse lawsuits will surely add to the cost your grand-kids will be paying for.

I was once "chastised" by a school principal (given the strap that is) for throwing snowballs in the schoolyard. My excuse was that "everybody else was doing it". His response (strap aside), was that "just because everybody else is doing it, doesn't make it right".

The lesson I learned? Don't get caught!

That about sums up this property accumulation fetish RC & Trip have.

I could but would it really change anything? You've made numerous references to people, you don't agree with, living in their mother's/parent's basement, to get all excited like when the table is turned.

Just for you I dug up a few:
